The event comprises a talk regarding the work experience that College students have gained, undertaking refurbishment on a building purchased by the College specifically for students to refurbish.
This will be followed by a legal update as outlined below:
Anna Wood, Senior Associate at BPE Solicitors LLP, will deliver a short update on the current legal issues challenging the construction industry. As well as exploring recent case law and the JCT 2016 suite, this talk will also look at how BIM Protocols are developing as legal framework races to catch up with the increasing enthusiasm for collaborative use of technology. Anna will also give her top tips on ensuring that your contracts are drafted to suit the practical realities of your project.
The event starts at 8:30am (8am arrival for tea/coffee, etc.) and should be over by 10am. Please note a £25 charge for non-members will apply.
