As a Director at Bamboo Technology Group, Kevin has a clear understanding of the importance of good communications and IT infrastructure in construction. Jonathan, has architectural experience in many sectors covering a variety of projects including Residential, Commercial and Leisure however mainly focusing in Education schemes over recent years. Anna is a Senior Associate Solicitor in the Construction and Engineering Team at BPE Solicitors. Having lived in Cheltenham for 30 years and specialised in construction law for nearly a decade, Anna knows the local market extremely well. Craig is a Chartered Construction Manager who has been teaching level 3 and 4 BTEC Construction and the Built Environment courses at Gloucestershire College since 2007. Before discovering teaching, Craig worked as a 'Training Coordinator', a role helping young people achieve Apprenticeships in construction crafts. Steve is a retired Chartered Quantity Surveyor and CDM Consultant. He was employed in both the public and private sectors before running his own practice for 17 years before retirement. Steve has been involved with the Constructing Excellence Gloucestershire Club since email@example.com
David is a Director of E.G.Carter and Co.Ltd and has worked for the family firm for over 30 years. During this time he has fulfilled a number of roles and has a wide understanding of the construction Industry but his main role has been on the purchasing side, overseeing a team responsible for the scheduling and purchasing of all the company’s material and plant hire requirements and through this role has extensive knowledge of Supply Chains, Partnering Agreements, Supplier Evaluation, Performance measurement and Continuous Improvement Techniques.
David is also responsible for the Company’s Joinery Division, Fleet of vehicles, Environmental Policy, IT, Communications and Insurances. He is also a member of the Health and Safety Working Party.

Adam, a Senior Contracts Manager with Barnwood Construction has over 30 year’s experience in the industry having started his career as a site engineer in Birmingham. He went on to work his way through the ranks with several regional contractors. He has been responsible for the delivery of many of Barnwood’s prestigious projects over the last 7 years. Sean is a Director at Hanscomb Intercontinental the leading provider in Gloucestershire of expert advisory and expert witness services to the UK and International onshore and offshore construction, engineering and shipbuilding industries. Sean’s primary professional qualifications are Chartered Quantity Surveyor and Barrister and he has regularly provided contract, commercial, quantum and delay analysis advice to help avoid disputes or resolve them when they arise over the last thirty years of his career. Sean also sits as arbitrator, adjudicator, expert determiner and dispute board member and has given expert evidence in these forums and litigation. Started journey in a finance sector over 15 years ago while studying for a master’s degree of economy with a specialty for majoring of public sector entities. Worked her way up from an accountancy software implementation consultant through a finance clerk, management accountant, financial controller to director of finance role.
Many years of experience in finance has given her a platform for a strong set of skills both technical and personal. Having a great understanding of each function including commercial and contractual within a finance department she is particularly suitable for implementing processes and supporting long term strategies and business growth.
Barbara has got a master’s degree of economy, bachelor’s degree of administration and approaching her final exams towards ACCA qualifications.
Sam is part of the fourth generation of the Carter family to work within the business. Sam began his career in 2012 as a Management Trainee and soon progressed into a Contracts Manager. Sam is now responsible for the management of our Major Construction Team. Sam is responsible for the Major Construction Team’s delivery of projects within the Education, Healthcare, Commercial and Industrial sectors. Sam is also a Charted Builder.SamCarter@egcarter.co.uk
Lisa is a Site Manager for Kier Construction Central, she is based in Gloucester and has worked in the industry for 9 years. She has progressed from a work experience student, through the Kier Degree programme to the present day, where is a she is currently working on the refurbishment of Shire Hall in Gloucester City Centre. She has worked on number of different projects, including Cheltenham Racecourse, MAIA Infineum and Gloucestershire Fire Stations.
Lisa enjoys working on the Constructing Excellence committee, as she believes it is great opportunity to encourage younger generations into the construction industry and showcase its endless opportunities. She is also a strong advocate for Women in Construction.
