Join Constructing Excellence Gloucestershire Club in March for a site visit to Quayside House, Gloucester for a tour of Gloucestershire County Council’s project, with contractor Kier Construction.
Jeremy Mann (Contracts Manager) and Robert Faulkner (Project Manager) of Kier Construction will speak about the project and lead tours of the site.
The project is a construction of a three-storey building, comprising of a car park on the ground floor, GP surgeries and NHS facilities on the first and office space for Gloucestershire County Council on the second floor.
The new multi million pound facility is aiming to be complete by Spring 2021, achieving BREEAM excellent. The new building is being constructed on the footprint of the former Quayside House building, and further foundation works are being formed under an archaeological watching brief due to the conservation grounds of Gloucester Castle which are situated underneath the building footprint.
Please note that due to the size of the site, tickets are limited to 30 places.

Please note: FULL PPE is required (and is not provided) – Hard Hat, High Vis, Boots, Gloves and Glasses. Please email email@example.com prior to booking if you would need to borrow any kit (we cannot provide boots but may be able to arrange loan of other PPE).
Parking is NOT available on site – the two nearest public car parks are Gloucester Quays (GL2 5RG) or Longsmith Street Car Park (GL1 2HH)
