Save the Date for a site visit to Quayside House on 11th February 2021.
Jeremy Mann (Contracts Manager) and Robert Faulkner (Project Manager) of Kier Construction look forward to welcoming you to Quayside House, almost a year later than planned. This will be a brilliant opportunity to see this exciting project – far more progressed than when we had intended visiting in March 2020.
Join fellow CEGlos Members for breakfast provided by Kier, followed by a talk and tour of the site.
The project is a construction of a three storey building, comprising of a car park on the ground floor, doctor surgeries and NHS facilities on the first and office space for Gloucester County Council on the second floor.
The £15 million new facility is aiming to be complete by Spring 2021, achieving BREEAM excellence.
The new building is being constructing on the existing piles from the former Quayside House building, and further reinforcement works are being formed under a archaelogical watching brief due to the conservation grounds of Gloucester Castle which are situated underneath the building footprint.
Tickets will go on sale early in the New Year.
Please note: There is no parking on site – please use Gloucester Quays (GL2 5RG) or Longsmith Street Car Park (GL1 2HH)
PPE Requirements: Attendees are required to wear Hard Hat, High Vis, Boots, Gloves and Glasses. PPE will not be provided.
