The CEGlos committee do review all membership companies and individuals, to ensure every member is suited to the group. We do therefore reserve the right to decline membership (and refund any fees paid) if you are not from a construction related industry.
Member levels
We have two main categories of membership – Corporate and Sole Trader – which offer the same benefits. We ask that only true “one (wo)man bands” take advantage of the discounted Sole Trader membership.
Annual fees for 2023-24 are £50 (Sole Trader) and £150 (Corporate).
We are pleased to offer Retirees with FREE membership. Please contact a member of the CEGlos team and we’ll provide you with a discount code to use within the registration process.
Full-time student
If you’re a full-time student you can apply for membership for free!
Please ensure you provide us with your College/University email address and confirm the nature of your full-time study during the registration process.
Apprentices
Apprentices should join via their employer using a Corporate Membership.

How do I join CE Glos?
You can register online - simply choose the relevant level of membership, complete the registration form, and select your preferred method of payment.
Do you charge VAT on membership fees?
No, CE Glos is not VAT registered.
I am a sole trader, can I sign up for corporate membership?
Yes! You are very welcome to sign up for corporate or corporate plus membership and you can use the additional event tickets to bring guests.
Does membership last for 12 months from the date that I sign up?
No. Our membership year runs from 1 May until the following 30 April. We usually offer half price membership from November-April inclusive. No matter what date you join, your membership will expire on the next 30 April.
I am already a member but would like to upgrade my membership what do I do?

How do I gain access to the full membership directory?
Only members, corporate members and corporate plus members are able to access the full membership directory. Please login to view the full directory.
I have changed employer. Can I import my membership across?
It is the business who is a member of CE Glos and therefore your new employer will need to join. Please remember that we offer half price membership from November-April inclusive.
How are my membership fees spent?
Our annual financial report is available to members. Generally speaking, membership fees are spent on the following: event costs such as room hire and catering (where not paid for by an event sponsor), costs associated with hiring in speakers, social media and web support, administrative and auditing support, sundry items such as badges and lanyards and promotional banners. Please note that the Committee members are volunteers and are not paid to carry out their role. The committee has, however, sanctioned Committee Members to claim travel expenses when representing CE Glos at other external events, for example, representing the CE Glos Club and regional and national level within the wider Constructing Excellence body.
